Finally, something I can carry around with me that actually will recharge using the sun if I don't have an outlet nearby. This does exactly what it should, recharges almost any electronic device I throw at it. My ipod, my Garmin gps, and my cellphone all get a boost from this. I just keep it in my car (or my wife throws it in her purse) and it's ready to go whenever we need it. If we forget to refuel it overnight at an outlet, then we can always use the sun if it's a nice day for a quick boost. Definitely a neat gadget to add to the collection!

I had originally made this purchase to charge up my fiancés Kindle. It works great at that job, as it is super easy to charge by AC/USB or Solar. The coolest thing about this product is all the different plug adapters that it came with. This Power Pack charges my iPhone, my iPod, my PSP, my fiancés Kindle and her Blackberry Pearl AND my daughters Nintendo DS Lite. There are still a few extra tips that I don't even use (Samsung/LG phone tips) I think everyone can get quite a few different number of uses from this power pack, and for its price... why wouldn't you.

This is really a novel idea, at least to me. To have a battery pack that will not only power virtually any USB, GPS, or Apple device, but it's rechargeable via AC power OR the sun. That's just cool. It works extremely well and holds the charge as advertised (check the specs, they are accurate). I am going to keep this handy at all times because when I'm on the road, nothing bugs me more than running out of juice on my iPod. Plus, I tend to talk around with my GPS as well so having the extra power in my pocket (and again, from the sun!), is very helpful!

I thought my Ipod was going to be permanently attached to my clock radio. The battery was dead after always sitting on a charger. I couldn't take it out of the house because it would only last 5 minutes. Now with this super handy portable charger, my music is with me again. It charged up quickly out of the box with the ac adapter and I was off and running. It kept my Ipod going while I took a long walk. The best part is when the battery runs out, I always have the sun to keep the power on.
