So far, so good. They appear to work as described. Luckily I haven't had an emergency to fully test them, however, they seem to function properly. Beam is sufficiently powerful.
These are the best solar flashlights I have ever used!!

These are the best solar flashlights I have ever used. If and /or when I need another flash light you cna bet these are the ones I will be buying. I have em in my home, both our cars, or RV and I gave a ste to my son for his home. They are just great.

A little pricy; however, they work well so far as emergency flashlights in our cars. I have one set on the dashboard for continuous charging.

After owning this light for two days, I thought it should be charged pretty well.
I clicked it on so it was running off the solar and not the battery.
10:30pm - 3:00am. The light was still on without any noticeable dimming.
4:30am - The light was on without any noticeable dimming.
8:00am - Light was off. I shut the light off for approx. One minute and turned it back on to the solar option and it was already projecting a faint light.
Hope this helps you make the right decision.
EVERYONE should have one of these lights on hand.
Buy now before everyone finds out and the price goes up. |
Finally, a useful solar light

I bought a pack of these a couple of months ago, and they really work. Like the review ahead of me, they do what they say. Main good points: Very solid build, does not require direct sunlight to charge, easily changed backup coin cells, runs a long time on a full charge, nice usable amount of light. Cons: the on-off switch isn't labled, so if you don't use it regularly it is not clear if you are running off the solar cell or running down your backup coin cells. Takes a long time to fully charge the solar cell if the battery is completely run down (2 days direct sunlight, 1 week if set in a window that gets daylight but no direct sun). These are really useful lights.
